- Innovative entrepreneurs with a proven business plan that:
- Reduces greenhouse gas emissions by an amount they can estimate
- Is developed enough to execute and bring to market within 2 years
- 18 years or older and fluent in English (pitches must be in English)

- PowerPoint pitch deck (5 slides)
- Preliminary jury selects 25 nominees and narrows them down to 5 finalists
- Finalists pitch to the international jury in Amsterdam
- International jury selects winner and runner-up

- Must create legal entity/corporation to receive winnings
- Be willing to bring it to market yourself
- Make the necessary commitments to develop the product or service
